  • For a quick coffee, we recommend Buzz Coffee Shop, located near the Village Green.

  • The Octagon is great for a sit-down breakfast or lunch, located in the Main Inn.

  • Check out Fore & Aft for lunch by the water.

  • check out this fire truck turned pizza truck for authentic Neopolitan pizza, located in front of the Main Inn.

  • The River House is a fantastic restaurant located near the Village Green. We love stopping by the speakeasy below the restaurant for a cocktail before, followed by s’mores at the fire pit just outside the restaurant.

  • If you’re wanting to explore off property, we recommend checking out Lowcountry Fresh Market & Cafe for lunch and FARM Bluffton for dinner.

Shopping + Amenities

  • At Spa Montage, our wellness rituals are inspired by nature, using local elements to provide an authentic sense of place. Relax, unwind and awaken your senses in the tranquility of the South Carolina Lowcountry.

  • If you’re staying at the Montage, visitors are welcome to use their three pools - the Inn Family Pool, the Spa Fitness Pool and the River House pool.

  • Unfortunately, there is a golf tournament at the May River Golf Course the week before the wedding, so it will be closed to guests until Sunday, October 27th. We recommend checking out the following courses in the nearby area: Sea Pines, Hilton Head National, Savannah Harbor.

  • If you love to play tennis or pickleball, head over to the Wilson Lawn & Racquet Club, which includes eight tennis courts, two bocce courts, six pickleball courts, one basketball court and a pro shop and pavilion
